Our Super Star
On a positive note, here is Ben being our little super star. It's hard to stay sad for long when you have this little cutie showing off some of his great skills. We've waited a year and a half to have our baby hear noises. The fact that he now knows his name AND respond to it makes my heart jump every time! Giving Ben sound is the best gift I've ever received. His cochlear implant is a blessing and the best decision we've ever made.

I knew you were a special gift from God, Ben, and have brought such joy to this family in the past year and a half. Watching you struggle and fight for the little things that other children do brings tears to my eyes but you are such a little fighter that we love you more than ever. I am so very proud of you and your Mommy and Daddy for all the patience and love they have given you. I am so very blessed to be your grandmother. Love to you all.

Ben you are one little super boy!!! I love the video and watching your little legs go was so awsome. You are so wonderful and you like Eva are a gift from god.

WOW! How cool is that to see Mr. Ben HEARING and WALKING!!! I am so thrilled for you. I love how these crazy lil' kiddos give us good news right when we need it the most! :)

I just now had a chance to check on little Ben( been praying really hard for him and his surgery though) and read your disappointing news. Those are tough days.You feel like the bad news is never going to stop!!!!
But then I was quickly uplifted to see Ben's incredible video. That is so huge that he's turning to sound!! Wonderful! These little CHARGERs epitomize the saying,"when God closes a door, he opens a window".Watching his little self walking is absolutely precious. Seeing him, Max and Evan is so adorable because they are such little guys and they look so amazingly cute when they're walking!

Love the video, Amy! That's SO great that Ben is turning to his name already! That's HUGE!! Gosh, it took Katie months and months to get to that point. You should be really proud and thrilled that Ben is making such good progress!

After the post surgery news seeing the video has to bring a smile to everyone. Ben your doing an amazing job and before you know it you'll be trying out for the Bengals. That's OK with me as long as you put it to the nasty Steelers. Hang in there and I look forward to my next trip to visit. Amy, your doing a fantastic job with Ben and I thank you from the bottom of my heart for that. Mike, I guess I'll have to give you a LITTLE credit for at least taking the video's. Take care....
