Today is the day we are suppose to take off Ben's bandages. They haven't budged a bit, so I'm not sure how to tackle their removal. I'll do my best to make it as painless as possible though.
And other than needing some Tylenol during sleep time, Ben is acting like his old self. What a tough cookie he is!
School starts on September 8 and I'm excited to get him back into the swing of things. We have found a day nurse for Monday/Tuesday and I think she is going to be a perfect fit. Ben warmed right up to her, so that's a good sign. He wanted her to tickle him :)

Try baby oil Amy....moisten the tape with it and let it set for a few minutes and it should loosen it enough to keep from pulling his skin.

Yeah, that is great news! He sure is a tough guy! Hope things continue to go well and that the new nurse works out well.
He is one tough little guy!! You are also one brave mommy, I hate having to do that stuff.

Glad Ben is doing so well! Did you get the bandage off? They gave us some kind of adhesive remover spray when Katie had her pressure bandage on her thigh and groin from her PDA repair. It still hurt pretty bad, though, when we removed it, even with the spray. :-(
