So Proud

I am so proud of Ben and his progress at school. He is doing amazing and has such a wonderful team working with him. It seems his team really understands the best way for him to learn and is presenting him with new things every day... new things that he is picking up so quickly! He is able to match colors and pictures, hand over the correct picture card when asked for it with sign language, sort the right chip into the same colored bowl and much more. As long as you give him a big applause after each correct answer, he keeps on working away. I'm just thrilled and impressed with our little hard worker.

I also took his cochlear implant in to Audiology today to make some modifications to it. Hopefully with these new modifications, he won't yank it off when someone yells (he hates that) and will wear it more at school.

We are SO proud of you, too, Ben! You are so inspiring! We're cheering for you, too!

Amy, Ben is just blooming and blossoming in front of your very eyes! So exciting! And I'm so glad to know he has such an amazing team working with him - doesn't that just make all the difference?

It's amazing the changes I see in Ben every time I come on the site. He is growing so fast. Looks more like his mother every day (Thank Goodness it's not his Dad). Of course the intelligence must come from Amy's family and Mike's Mom's family. I look forward to getting back up to visit in the near future, miss everyone very much.

Great job, Ben!!! It sounds like he is working on the same things they worked on with Katie. But Ben is about a year ahead of Katie as far as when they started working on these things and she started grasping them. So, way to go, Ben!! You are going to make awesome progress at school, I can already tell!
