We had a very nice visit at my parents yesterday (thanks for having us over, everything was wonderful) and the tree swing was a success. At first, Ben looked a little petrified and maybe on the verge of tears, but after a few more big pushes he started to enjoy it. He stayed in the swing for almost 30 minutes and he was really enjoying the scenery at my parent's house (lots of HUGE trees to admire). Luckily we got the swinging in first thing, because it rained the rest of the day. I love the first picture because Ben has his tongue out like he is really concentrating.
In honor of the holiday, we were all decked out in our red, white and blue attire... but at dinner it was taken to a whole new level! (NOTE: those are napkins that Mike and Ben are wearing)

So glad Ben's swing was a success and the weather was half-way decent. Mike looks way to comfortable wearing the napkin. I'm starting to wonder about him.
See you all next week.

What I loved most about the photos was the suction machine by the tree! :) The infamous green bag...same one as us! :)
And I love, love, love the boys with their napkins. Way too cute and way too perfect for a scrapbook page!!! :)
Also, the photos of him sitting up Amy? WOW! WOW! WOW! I just love it! Is he feeling more and more comfortable with that?
Thanks for all the fun photos!!! Keep 'em coming! :)
Love, Amy and Maxwell
I think we all had as much fun watching Ben swing as Ben had actually swinging. It was great spending time together and what fun grilling in the pouring rain. I think it made the food taste better.
Seems like wearing the flag was the dress of the day. Grandma Deb, Ben, Ben & Mike on their heads. I will have to get with the program next year.

Okay, so how cute are you!!! I want to thank you for signing Caleb's blog and leaving us that info. Thanks so much!!!
Ben seems like a fighter like all the other CHARGEr kiddos. I hope you don't mind but I have added Ben's website to Caleb's so our network of friends and family can read about him also. Please let me know if that is not okay.
Good job on the swing Ben and I love the fourth of July pics.
Take care and God Bless
